Who are Sievwrights Law?

Sievwrights Law provides a wide range of legal services to privately-owned businesses, trustees, and individuals. We provide advice on wills, trusts, estates, succession planning, relationship property, buying and selling property, enduring powers of attorney and estate administration, and are specialists in both family and estate litigation, and civil and commercial court disputes and litigation.

We aim to make dealing with the law simple, providing cost-effective legal services to meet our clients’ needs.

The original Sievwrights Law firm dates back to 1918, when Archie Sievwright returned from the Great War and commenced the practice of law in Wellington. He was then joined by his son, Nigel.

John Porter joined the firm in 1983, and has continued to practice at Sievwrights ever since.
